Surgery and Anti Aging Considerations

What does Plastic Surgery mean?
It describes elective treatment to enhance your appearance and encompasses both aesthetic/cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

What does anti-aging mean?

As life expectancy continues to climb, the emerging field of Anti-Aging medicine is driven by a desire to maintain good health and vitality inside and out, including preventative care, very early detection of disease and where possible the reversal of ageing related concerns, diseases and disorders.  This proactive approach to health addresses exercise, diet and nutrition, hormones and supplements.  It also considers individual’s genetic inheritance and predisposition in order to develop custom made anti-aging programs, which can include cosmetic or aesthetic treatments.

How to get a Perfectly Balanced Face?

The eyes, nose and chin are three distinct facial components working together to present a youthful, attractive appearance.  To get a perfectly balanced face from the top to the bottom, Dr Zacharia uses the ‘Rule of Thirds’:

  1. The first third goes from the hairline to the top of the bridge of the nose.  The second third extends for the top of the nose to the lip.  The last third goes from the lip to the bottom of the chin.
  2. From left to right facially, the ‘Rule of Fives’ applies to achieve the balance:
Width of the ears, ears to the outer eye, eye to bridge, bridge to eye, eye to ear and ear to width.
